Description
The mount supplied with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller leaves a lot to be desired. In my situation I needed to mount the controller from the bottom while retaining full function of the override lever for emergency situations. There was nothing on the market to meet his need.
On vehicles like Jeep's its not practical to mount these on the kickpanel below the steering wheel, the resultant angle is too steep for the accelerometers to work correctly, the brake controller should be mounted as level as possible.
This is version 1 of our bottom P3 controller mount, I've been testing it for several weeks with no issues, including some off-roading. I printed it out of ABS/ASA and its working great with 30% - 50% gyroidal infill and auto generated supports in Bambu Studio.
Features an AMPS standard mounting plate bolt hole pattern, which is four holes spaced 30mm x 38mm. Uses M4 x 10mm or M4 x 12mm hardware. This allows for RAM ball mounting, or anything else you can think of, such as our Bulletpoint Picitinny mount adapter found on our MISC store page.
Enjoy!
