This 3D printed tool is designed to assist in removing dipsticks from hot engines. It helps prevent accidental burns and provides enough leverage to easily remove stubborn dipsticks without damaging aircraft components like pliers or wrenches might.

We've been providing these to local flight schools and they've been a big hit, but we have decided to offer these Dipstick Removal Tools to everyone, including the .STL file. If you have a capable 3D printer you can make your own, at no costs to you.

20% wholesale discount available on orders over 10+ units, automatically applied at checkout.

We now offer custom lettering! N#'s, names, etc. If it fits on the tool we can make it! No additional costs.

Local Pickup is available at two different locations, please use the dropdown menu at checkout to select local pickup, we'll contact you when your order is ready and set a meet place and time, our two meet locations are:

1) The Goose Creek Airport 28A (2020 Lawyers Rd,  Indian Trail, NC 28079)

2) Charlotte Monroe Executive Airport KEQY (3900 Paul J Helms Dr., Monroe, NC 28110)

Should fit most Lycoming engine installations

- Made from Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) for UV, fuel, oil, and temperature resistance

- Textured palm grip and scalloped finger holes to make gripping easier in all weather, generous filets designed for comfort in the hand.

- Spiraled and back cut design prevents the tool from tightening, this to prevent over-torquing of the dipstick. (A tool should never be used to tighten a dipstick, including this one, hand snug only)

- Bites hard with full width engagement to safely remove a difficult dipstick, but the tool naturally lifts itself off the dipstick cap if you try to use it to tighten.

- Tool diameter is almost the same diameter as the dipstick itself, this helps prevent over-leveraging and subsequent damage.

- Lightweight and easy to pack in a flight bag/kit, weighs approximately 20 grams (0.7 oz).

- Designed to isolate from heat, rated to withstand approximately 90c / 195f

- Supplied Lanyard prevents the tool from falling into the engine compartment when secured around the wrist
